Summer Meals for Kids Returns for its 9th year!
This summer, our church will be participating in the 9th year of the Summer Meals for Kids Program, providing lunches for 300 children who receive meal assistance while school is in session here in Williamsburg-James City County. We will again partner with Williamsburg Community Chapel, Williamsburg Baptist Church, and Walnut Hills Baptist Church to prepare and assemble lunches each Wednesday between June 17 and August 19.
Volunteering is easy, fun & Fulfilling!
- Lunches are prepared at the Meals on Wheels location at The WISC, 5700 Warhill Trail
- We start at 8:20am and are finished by 11:00am
- Our team is responsible for Wednesdays, June 17 - August 19
- Contributions of home-baked cookies are a welcome addition for lunches

Parking Lot Behind the church
We are hosting a food drive to support Summer Meals for Kids Saturday, June 13 in the WPC back parking lot from 10am to noon. Just drive up, and a volunteer will take your donations!
Request List: (*Please avoid items with nuts & peanut butter*)
- Juice Boxes
- Snacks - Individual servings of
- Granola Bars
- Chips, cheese crackers or pretzels
- Fruit Strips
- Raisins
- Rice Krispie treats, cookies, etc.
- Fruit Cups
- Applesauce Cups or Pouches
