At WPC, we want to make it easy for our church family to connect with one another outside of Sunday mornings. Using our Online Directory, you can get in touch with new (or old!) friends, keep your contact information current, and let our community find you, too.

Frequently asked questions

IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?
Yes! We utilize ShelbyNext Membership software for our database. Shelby meets industry standards through encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL), a security feature also used by banks and online retailers and requires usernames and passwords for login.
Only people involved at WPC will have have the opportunity to access the directory, and must agree to our confidentiality agreement.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO BE IN THE DIRECTORY?
Anyone who attends WPC and has given us their email address. If we don’t have your email address on record, but you are interested in being in the directory, please use the registration button above.

WILL PEOPLE BE ABLE TO SEE MY BIRTHDAY?
You can set visibility to your birthday within your Profile. However, for denominational reporting it’s important to have the correct year so please make sure that’s accurate!

WHAT INFORMATION IS VIEWABLE?
We’ve chosen to show just the basic contact information: photo (if you choose to upload one), name, email and residential address, home/cell numbers, and family tree (children and/or spouse connections).
DO I HAVE TO BE A PART OF THE DIRECTORY?
No, it is optional! But we are encouraging everyone who is actively engaged in the life of the church to be a part of it. Otherwise, if you choose against it, you will not be able to be found by anyone and you will not be able to access the directory yourself.

CAN I EDIT MY OWN INFORMATION?
Yes! And we encourage you to do so to keep the directory up-to-date and accurate.

WILL OTHER PEOPLE BE ABLE TO SEE MY GIVING RECORDS?
No! Your giving history is only viewable to you.

I JUST MADE AN UPDATE TO MY PROFILE AND I DON’T SEE A CHANGE ON MY LISTING. WHAT HAPPENED?
You’re right. Once you update your profile, you won’t see your changes right away. Our office just needs to review any changes to make sure the formatting is correct.

MY SPOUSE IS DESIGNATED AS PRIMARY. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN AND CAN I BE THE PRIMARY INSTEAD?
The ‘primary’ designation is simply used to integrate financials with families.  One family member has to be designated as primary which triggers the system to organize the contributions under one household.   If you would like to be listed as the primary on your family’s listing, just contact the church office to request the change.
