Meet Our Staff
Staffed by advocates for dance and faith with children of all abilities, this will be a safe and inclusive week of fun for all.

Melody Dillon
Melody Dillon has a BFA in Dance from Belhaven University and an MA in Christian Formation from Virginia Theological Seminary. She has performed and choreographed internationally and throughout Virginia in addition to teaching dance for the past decade. Melody was first introduced to teaching creative dance to children with disabilities in 2021 and immediately developed a new passion for teaching dance for all abilities. She has also explored the connections between spirituality, faith, and dance; mostly recently through her MA thesis project, which explored dance as prayer for trained and untrained movers. Melody is currently the Director of Children and Family at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church and loves creating programs where all kids feel that they are loved, included, and can be the best that they can be.

Phoebe Jones
Phoebe Jones holds an MA in Christian Formation from Virginia Theological Seminary (Class of 2024) and is currently a preschool teacher at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind, she and brings much experience in working with children, including over five years as a caregiver for a child with multiple disabilities. Certified in Godly Play in 2023, Phoebe is passionate about nurturing children's spiritual and creative growth. She grew up dancing and is looking forward to combining her skills to assist with the Wonderfully Made Dance Camp.

Cameron Estes
Originally from Raleigh, NC, Cameron completed her undergraduate education from Western Carolina University where she studied Classics and Dance. Upon moving to the Northern Virginia area in 2016, she immediately sought opportunity to continue teaching and performing, and took great joy in becoming an early dance educator. Cameron was introduced to teaching youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 2021, and committed herself to receiving continuing education specifically for teaching dance to this specialized population. Cameron continues to teach individuals of all ages and abilities and currently brings dance to those experiencing memory decline and age-related-complications in her class Dance for Brain Health, as well as to youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Northern Virginia. She is thrilled to be involved in the Wonderfully Made Dance Camp!
