Mission Trip to Black Mountain, NC

WPC’s Hunger and Homeless Team is sponsoring a mission trip to Black Mountain, NC, to assist with ongoing recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene (September 2024).
We will leave on Monday, May 11, and return on Saturday, May 16, travelling in the church bus. We will be working all or part of four days, restoring flood-damaged homes, with tasks such as insulation, drywall, painting, and installing flooring, doors, trim, cabinets, and vanities. We will stay in the Hickory Lodge at Montreat Conference Center.
Costs for the trip are minimal: one or two dinners at a local restaurant to support the community, and one meal each way during travel. Space is limited to 20 participants. To sign up to go or for more information, please email or call Tom Moul.
