Summer Meals for Kids

WPC is in its 8th year of supporting the Summer Meals for Kids program, organized by the Greater Williamsburg Meals on Wheels. Volunteers make and assemble lunches each Wednesday during the summer for 250 school children in the area who are at risk of hunger when subsidized school lunches are not available.
Volunteers are needed to create the bento boxes, assemble the bags, and contribute home-baked cookies each week at the Meals on Wheels facility at the WISC, 5700 Warhill Trail.
