York River Symphony Orchestra Concert presents "Music of the Animal Kingdom"
As we mark YRSO's 40th anniversary, join us in our continuing commitment to bring you good music, this time our final concert of the 2024-2025 season. Join the YRSO for a journey through the Animal Kingdom in Music. Your journey begins with the playful and charming Anderson's The Waltzing Cat. Next, head down the road to the rugged landscapes of Colorado with Anderson's Horse and Buggy, before encountering the wild beauty of Barry's Dances with Wolves Suite, evoking the majestic spirit of the American West. Continue with the sweet melodies of The Song of the Nightingale in the Lilac Bush by Krome. Then immerse yourself in the breathtaking majesty and enchanting power of Stravinsky's Firebird, featuring the fiery Danse Inferno and the serene beauty of the Berceuse & Finale.
Tickets are $15 and $12 for students, senior citizens, and military.
