On Saturday, March 4, our Presbyterian Men’s Fellowship will have Captain Donald Troast, retired US Navy Chaplain and currently the Interim Pastor at Jamestown Presbyterian Church, as guest speaker. Following a distinguished career in the US Navy, Don was engaged in training the Chaplain Corps on “Ministry in Combat at Sea” before undertaking pastoral duties for various churches in the Tidewater community. Pastor Troast once served as Temporary Head of Staff for WPC. Don’s presentation is entitled “Wine: Ancient and Divine” and he will be discussing the origins of wine and it’s secular and religious impact on history. Don’t miss this opportunity to welcome back Don Troast and hear what promises to be a highly informative presentation.
The meeting begins at 8:00 a.m. in Stevenson Hall with fellowship and breakfast. All men and women of the Williamsburg community and guests are welcome. There is a time for fellowship, a great home-cooked meal, and a hymn sing. Please make your reservations by Wednesday, March 1, at the church Welcome Center, or online, so that we can prepare enough home-cooked food for all. A donation of $10 will be requested at the breakfast.
