We are Listening…

May 12, 2023

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
—John 13:34-35

The diaconate board and I have discovered that we have a very caring congregation. We have also discovered that many people do not participate in caring ministries because they cannot make a weekly or monthly commitment. GREAT NEWS! The new diaconate model (introduced in this letter in April) provides the opportunity to serve when your schedule permits.
Do you travel often?
No problem. Serve when you are home.
Do you get called away to watch the grandkids?
No problem, participate when you get time off.
Are you involved in multiple organizations?
No problem. When your time permits, visiting someone, helping with a memorial or making coffee for the Sunday fellowship will have a huge impact.

We do need your help. Please prayerfully consider where God is calling you to share God’s love. Please reach out to Pastor Pam or any of the deacons on the teams if you can spare a day or two to make a difference.
