Running throughout the school year from 9:30-10:30am, our Confirmation Class is taught by a group of church Deacons. In this class students will formulate their own faith statements answering 6 big questions: Who am I? Who is God? Who was Jesus? Who is the Holy Spirit? What is the Church’s purpose? What is my role in the world? In answering these questions, students gain an understanding of what it means to be faithful in following God, and determine their next steps as member of this congregation.
For their service project, members of the Confirmation Class will collect food, clothing and self-care items for FISH, a community non-profit operating since 1975 in Williamsburg. Look for the youth in the common area by the back door of the church and in the Narthex before and after the 9:30am worship service on Sunday, November 13.
