You shall be called repairers of the breach -Isaiah 58

One Great Hour of Sharing

One Great Hour of Sharing is the single largest way that Presbyterians join together to share God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world. Who is in need? The list of those facing hunger, homelessness, and despair is overwhelming.
We see images of women and children, the elderly, the disabled, the most vulnerable fleeing their homes, their countries. Our hearts break with the images of destruction and suffering in Ukraine. We are saddened to hear of the famine and strife in Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico.

Through gifts to One Great Hour of Sharing we can connect with those who have the least – we can make a difference. God calls us to reach out.

Each gift to One Great Hour of Sharing helps to improve the lives of people in challenging situations through three impactful programs:
  • Presbyterian Disaster Assistance – providing immediate and long- term care for those affected by natural and human disasters
  • Presbyterian Hunger Program – alleviating hunger by distributing food and by helping to equip communities and families to become self-sustaining
  • Self-Development of People-- assisting those facing oppression, poverty, and injustice and providing skill development for life changes

Please give generously to this special offering. You may mail a check to the church office with “One Great Hour of Sharing” on the memo line. You may also contribute online by clicking on the button below.Donate to OGHS Now

“I was hungry and you gave me food. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. I was naked and you gave me clothing. I was sick and you took care of me. I was in prison and you visited me.” Matthew 25:35-36

Thank you for your support and caring.
