WPC provides a healing space where God’s message of hope is conveyed to members who are struggling with life’s challenges. We have an active deacon ministry and they are the strength that binds us in happy times and sad.

Caregiver Support Group
Room 249 @1pm, 1st Monday of each month.
Emotional support and information to those caring for a loved one with illness such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease. Contact: Pat Healy 757-220-0638

Prayer Chain
Your prayer request will remain confidential unless you indicate otherwise.
Contact Martha Reier in the church office via phone or email to be included in the prayer chain.

Prayer Request Card
Complete a card to share a joy or concern with the pastors or congregation. Access the prayer cards in the friendship register for completion during church, in the welcome center office for placement in prayer box, or submit online.

Family Deacon
Each member is assigned a family deacon to keep you informed about church activities and act as a liaison for any needs or concerns. The WPC Church office can help you if you need to identify your deacon.

Pastoral Counseling
WPC celebrates with you during life’s joys and suffer with you in times of sadness and fear. Pastor Harold McKeithen is the Director of Pastoral Care for WPC.
